Rebel Star Prabhas, known for his iconic roles, is currently juggling multiple projects, keeping fans eagerly awaiting his next appearances on the big screen. While he’s immersed in filming “Kalki 2898 AD,” set for release initially in May, rumors suggest it might face a postponement due to upcoming elections.
Alongside, he’s also committed to “Raja Saab,” a promising entertainer directed by Maruthi, slated for a December release. Adding to his plate, Prabhas is set to make a special cameo in Manchu Vishnu‘s ambitious project “Kannappa,” where he will portray the revered role of Lord Shiva.
Despite his hectic schedule, Prabhas has allocated five days for shooting, commencing on May 12th, reportedly at Ramoji Film City. “Kannappa” has already piqued interest with its captivating first look. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film boasts a stellar crew featuring renowned Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau, action director Kecha Khamphakdee, and dance maestro Prabhu Deva.
Produced by Manchu Mohan Babu under ‘Ava Entertainments’ and ’24 Frames Factory’ banners, the film also features a talented ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, among others, in special roles. With Thota Prasad and Sai Madhav Burra as the writers, and music by Stephen Devasi and Manisharma, “Kannappa” promises to be an exciting pan-Indian cinematic experience.
