Ashok, the director of films like Pilla Zamindar, Sukumarudu and Chitrangada, is coming back with a thriller, starring Anushka Shetty and Unnimukundan. The movie is titled, Bhaagamathie and it is slated for a release on 26th of January. The UV Creations production has held a pre-release event fortnight and the director equated Prabhas with God, in his life.
He explained, “Prabhas is one of those rare gem of persons who wish to grow with people around them. He heard the story first and made me meet Vamsi, Pramod who eventually regarded just the script and gave me so much to pull off such grand thriller. When I was in flops, they stood like a backbone and I will always be thankful to them and Prabhas.”
Anushka the main lead of the film said, ” I am fortunate to be able to do films like Arundhathi and Bhaagamathie. UV Creations, producers, Vamsi and Pramod, are like my friends. I should thank them for investing time and money on this huge project. I was in dilemma before agreeing this film as I had many projects and healthy issues. They could have gone to someone else, but they sticked with me. I would have regretted missing this film and I hope you people will like it as much as we did making it.”
Nani and Allu Aravind also attended the function and praised the commitment of the cast and crew. Prabhas did not come to the event as he had shooting of Saaho.
