Young Rebel star Prabhas hasn’t been a part of any shoot for the past few months, firstly because he had to promote his film Radhe Shyam, and then, as the actor got a surgery done on his knee. While he was expected to be back on sets in May, the actor chose to stay out of the sun and heat of May and was expected to resume shooting for Salaar in June.
Reports soon surfaced that director Prashanth Neel asked Prabhas to lose weight for Salaar before they could resume shooting, as the actor put on a lot of weight. Thus, Prabhas has been hitting the gym since then, as per sources, and there’s no confirmation of when Salaar’s shooting will resume, so far.
On the occasion of Prashanth Neel’s birthday today, Prabhas flew to Bengaluru and participated in the director’s birthday celebration, of which even KGF actor Yash was a part of. In the pictures that are currently circulating, one can clearly see that Prabhas has managed to lose some weight, so it is now to be seen when the shoot of Salaar will be resumed.
