It is widely known that pan-India star Prabhas’ mythological drama, Adipurush is gearing up for a January 12, 2023 release. Being directed by Bollywood director Om Raut, the film has Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in goddess Sita, Laxmana and Lankesh roles respectively.
Till yesterday, Prabhas fans are quite happy as their hero film is going to a solo release the festival season and will have a wide release across the country. But yesterday, the makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s new film, Varisu ( Varasadu) unveiled that the film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu along with Tamil during the Sankranthi season.
Being directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varasadu is produced by Dil Raju. But the decision of Dil Raju planning to release his movie as a competitor to Prabhas’ Adipurush is not going well with the fans. A few fans are trending #DilRaju hashtag on Twitter and asking him to rethink the decision of releasing Varisu during the Sankranthi season.
