Fish Venkat known for his comic roles in many Telugu films, is in critical condition due to kidney failure. He has been undergoing dialysis for the past nine months, but his health recently worsened.
He is currently on a ventilator in a Hyderabad hospital and doctors say a kidney transplant is the only way to save him. The treatment is expected to cost around Rs. 50 lakh.
His daughter Sravanthi made an emotional appeal for financial help and a kidney donor. Her blood type doesn’t match her father’s, and though Venkat’s brother is a match his health issues prevent him from donating.
After hearing about this actor Prabhas stepped in to support the family. His team assured full financial assistance for the transplant.
Fans and the industry praised Prabhas for his timely help. Venkat’s family is still looking for a donor and hoping for a miracle.
