Prabhas’ recent mythological drama, Adipurush, based on the Ramayana, faced disappointment at the box office, leading him to take a break from working with Bollywood directors. He canceled a project with Siddharth Anand, the director of Pathaan, which was supposed to be a big actioner starring Prabhas and Hrithik Roshan.
The news about the potential multistarrer had fans excited, but due to the underwhelming response to Adipurush, Prabhas decided to avoid Bollywood directors for the time being. Despite the setback, Mythri Movie Makers have other plans for the talented actor. They are planning a landmark project with Prabhas and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
While Siddharth Anand had previously directed Hrithik Roshan in blockbuster films like Bang Bang and War, the Prabhas-Hrithik multistarrer would have been a monumental collaboration in Indian cinema. However, given Adipurush’s outcome, Prabhas has opted not to move forward with the project.
On the other hand, Mythri Movie Makers are enthusiastic about their upcoming venture with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prabhas. Despite not receiving a detailed story yet, there is a commitment in place, and the producers are determined to materialize this collaboration.
