Prabhas actress thrilled to play Naagin

Shraddha Kapoor who acted in Rebel Star Prabhas’s Saaho is now thrilled to play Naagin. The movie has been announced today. Nagina is a sensational film in Late Sridevi’s career. This folklore drama has won many appreciations and Sridevi has turned most sought after actress in Bollywood. Her performance has won many accolades too.

However, the film’s sequel didn’t do well. Now, after 25 years this movie is getting a reboot and Shraddha Kapoor is reprising the role of Sridevi. This project will be produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and directed by Vishal Furia. Shraddha Kapoor is obviously excited to reprise Sridevi.

She tweeted, “It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring, and idolizing Sridevi ma’am’s Nagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.” More details regarding the project will be out very soon.
