Stylish Star Allu Arjun scored the biggest blockbuster of his career last year, with director Trivikram Srinivas’s Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, which became a non-Baahubali industry hit. Post AVPL, there were several speculations of Bunny’s next film, and when Pushpa was announced with Sukumar, everyone was excited to see this director-actor combination back in action.
It has been decided that Pushpa will release in two parts, as the scope of the film is large. While the first part is scheduled to release this year, the second part is expected to release next year. Bunny is also expected to do Icon, directed by Venu Sriram, in between Pushpa and Pushpa 2. Now, there are several reports and speculations going around about Bunny’s other projects, and the various directors that are lined up to direct him.
It is being said that Bunny has been approached by Tamil director AR Murugadoss once again recently, and narrated a story over Zoom to him. Tamil producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is said to be on board to bankroll this project which is expected to be made on a pan-Indian scale. Bunny is expected to take up this project after Pushpa 2 if he gets impressed with the complete script. On the other hand, director Vikram Kumar is also said to have approached Bunny for a film. It is now to be seen what all films Bunny will give his green signal to.
