A few key films were expected to be released this year, like Balakrishna’s film with director Gopichand Malineni, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi directed by Shiva Nirvana, and Vamshi Paidipally’s Varasudu with Vijay. However, it is now being said that none of these films would be released this year.
Balakrishna and Gopichand’s film has been delayed due to unknown reasons, while Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi has been postponed from December due to Samantha, who has been busy with her personal work. Vijay and Vamshi Padipally’s film also got delayed due to unknown reasons from Sankranthi. This has essentially made the post-Dasara release schedule completely new.
Dasara releases are the only ones that seem to be fixed and confirmed for now, with Chiranjeevi’s Godfather set to be released on October 5th, and Nagarjuna’s The Ghost is set to be released on October 7th. It is now to be seen which movies will get ready to be released after Dasara.
