Popular Producer clarifies on Anushka’s film rumours

Anushka Shetty had a wide release back in 2018. After Bhagamathie, she did not do any films due to her health issues and after an year and half, she started shooting for her recent film, Nishabdam. Movie was supposed to release in April but now, it has been postponed indefinitely until theatres re-open. There have been lot of rumours about the film going to have an OTT release but producers denied those claims multiple times.

Few days ago, news broke that Anushka is doing a film in Tamil with Vijay Sethupathi in the production of Ishari Ganesh of Vels International. In the film, Vijay Sethupathi was said to be playing the role of the lead protagonist. AL Vijay was said to be directing the film. Ishari Ganesh clarified to Tamil media that he has no idea how the fake news has come out and he has no plans on making a movie in the said combination. AL Vijay is busy with Thalaivi film and Vijay Sethupathi has 5 to 6 films waiting for his dates to proceed with shooting process.
