Popular Anchor Sreemukhi finds herself in legal pickle

The actress turned anchor Sreemukhi, who made a name as loud mouthed person on the TV and rebel, Ramulamma, found herself in a legal pickle, now. For her comments on the show, Julakataka, a comedy program on Gemini TV, Venkataramana Sharma filed a defamation case. He alleged that the anchor and channel have made derogatory remarks on Brahmin Community and they are repeated offenders, as well.

The anchor had to face such cases as a host on Pataas show and now, this is a new case on her for another show on another channel. Hyderabad Times quoted her saying that she doesn’t know why an issue two years old is being raised again. She said that the show was wrapped in 2018 and she doesn’t remember the comments. She said that she never wanted to upset any person through her programs or comments and anything she would have said or done on the show was to generate humour. She said that she will watch the clips that the complainant as attached and then, will take a call on issuing apology, it seems.
