Popcorn OTT Streaming Details

Popcorn, a conceptual film starring Avika Gor and Sai Ronak as the lead pair is hitting the screens on February 10th. Written and directed by Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham, the team went for a special screening of the film on February 8th.

Though the film has a unique premise, the director failed to execute the proceedings in a gripping manner. Despite many cliches, the film’s music composed by Shravan Bharadwaja registers well. Adding to it, MN Bal Reddy’s work as the cinematographer is visible on screen as he used good frames in the lift to showcase the lead pair nicely. His lighting setup is also impressive.

Meanwhile, the reports suggest that Popcorn’s post-theatrical streaming rights are bagged by the reputed OTT platform Zee5. The film is likely to go on digital premieres by this month end. Produced by Madhupalli Bhogendra Gupta of Acharya Creations, Avika Screen Creations, MS Chalapathi Raju, and Seshu Babu Peddinti, Popcorn marks Avika Gor’s debut as the producer.
