Actress Poorna aka Shamna Kasim has been the horror queen in Telugu Film Industry. She acted in more films that belong to horror genre and even perfected the emotions in such films. But in other languages, she is getting different roles and in an yet-to release film, she is playing the character of diffabled mother.
The actress said, ” I got emotional at the audio launch because the character is very close to my heart. Also, I did not expect to learn so much from the experience, but I am happy that I got to act along Ram sir and Mysskin sir, in Savarakathi. They helped me to get grips on the local language and also, whenever I fumbled they lead me to emote in a proper way. I can never forget the experience.”
She also said that she is waiting for the film to release and it has become a daily routine for her to look at the papers, to see the new updates about the release date of the movie. She recently, tonsured her head for a character and her new looks have become the talk of the town. Savarakathi is directed by GR Adithya and the movie could release, early this year.
