Pooja talks about the lowest point in her career

Pooja Hegde has been the undisputed queen of Tollywood for a few years now, delivering back-to-back successes at the box office. Her success streak was so much so that she began to be called lady luck in the industry. However, she has faced her own share of flops at the box office this year, in the form of Radhe Shyam, Beast, and Acharya.

Talking about the lowest point of her career, Pooja termed it as her Bollywood debut. She said that while she got to work with Hrithik Roshan in her very first movie, she never got any opportunities in Hindi after the film tanked at the box office and that it wasn’t until one of her Telugu films worked, that she began to get any offers at all.

Pooja is currently a part of two Bollywood films – Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty. She expressed hope that these two films will turn out to be good hits at the box office, and that they will help her make a strong comeback in Bollywood.
