It is well-known that Bollywood star Salman Khan is working on a film titled, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Co-starring Tollywood star Venkatesh in a key role, the film has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. A few weeks back, the makers have unveiled the film’s first look teaser was out on January 25th. The one minute promo received mixed respond for the audience. Being bankrolled by Salman Khan’s own banner, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is being directed by Farhan Samji.
As a part of promotions, the team has released the first single from the audio album of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in the evening hours of February 12th. Titled Naiyo Lagda, the song is a romantic track between the lead pair. Surprisingly, the track and Salman Khan’s look with long hair and his creepy dance movements in the song have been receiving negative feedback from the netizens. Even though, Pooja Hegde is adorable, lack of pleasent tune and Salman Khan’s avatar are a major minus for Naiyo Lagda.
This kind of negative feedback for the first single itself is created unnecessary negativity on the film. Will the makers overcome the negative shaded with the further promotional stuff? Remains to be seen. Co-starring Jagapathi Babu in a key role, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is scheduled for April 21st release as an Eid festival special.
Coming to Salman Khan’s upcoming projects, he will be working on Tiger 3, the third outing from the Ek Tha Tiger franchise for his next. Maneesh Sharma will be directing the film and likely to go on the floors soon. Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films banner is bankrolling the film. Katrina Kaif will be seen as the female lead in Tiger 3.
