Pooja Hegde’s Big Bollywood Break

Since stepping back from the Guntur Kaaram project, Pooja Hegde‘s presence in the South Indian film industry has dwindled. Despite being a prominent heroine in Telugu cinema, she has faced setbacks with the loss of promising film opportunities, resulting in reduced attention towards her. However, Pooja has moved her attention to Bollywood, where she is currently involved in several projects.

Her upcoming projects include “Deva,” directed by Rosshan Andrews, in which she co-stars with Shahid Kapoor and is set to release on Dusshera, October 11, 2024. Also, she will appear opposite Kartik Aaryan in an untitled production, marking a new onscreen combination.

Pooja just disclosed another intriguing project, “Sanki,” which will be released on Valentine’s Day 2025 and directed by filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. In “Sanki,” she shares the screen with Ahan Shetty. With a diverse lineup of projects in Bollywood, Pooja Hegde is determined to seize the opportunities available to her in the industry while keeping her focus away from the South for the time being.
