Rahul Riji Nair, a national and state award winner, is directing Jai Mahendran under Srikanth Mohan.
With the political drama “Jai Mahendran,” OTT provider SonyLIV is entering the Malayalam language after screening critically acclaimed originals in Tamil and Telugu.
The show focuses on the lives of Mahendran, a cunning officer who thinks that exploiting his position of power and influence inside the system will help him accomplish his goals. But as a result of the same power play, his authority in the office is revoked, and his opinions are contested.
‘Jai Mahendran’ intends to subvert the entire system to his advantage in an effort to keep his job and repair his reputation. The main question in the novel is whether he can execute his grand plan.
Rahul Riji Nair, a national and state award winner, is in charge of Jai Mahendran, which is being directed by Srikanth Mohan. “Jai Mahendran’s” objective, according to Nair, is to present a fair representation of an officer’s life from multiple angles.
He added: “The system can be exceedingly complicated with many winding regulations and powerplay at different levels. Through ‘Jai Mahendran’, we aspire to illuminate a topic that is both relatable and entertaining for the audience.”
Saiju Kurup, Suhasini, Miya, Suresh Krishna, Maniyanpilla Raju, Balachandran Chullikad, Vishnu Govindan, Sidhartha Siva, and Rahul Riji Nair all play significant roles in the ensemble film “Jai Mahendran.”
