Rajeev Kanakala a respected actor known for staying away from controversies and media attention, has found himself involved in a legal issue.
The Rachakonda Police served him notices in connection with a flat sale dispute. Rajeev had earlier sold a flat located in Pedda Amberpet Municipality within the Pasumamula revenue limits, to Vijay Chowdary for Rs 70 lakhs.
Later, Vijay Chowdary sold the same flat to Sravan Reddy. However Sravan was never given possession of the property.
Feeling cheated Sravan Reddy filed a police complaint against both Vijay Chowdary and Rajeev Kanakala. Based on his complaint, the police registered an FIR and visited Rajeev’s home to serve him legal notices.
Rajeev has been named as A2 in the case. This unexpected involvement of the actor in a legal matter has come as a surprise as he is generally known for his decent image in the industry.
