Anasuya Bharadwaj has landed in controversy after local BJP leaders filed a complaint against her at Borabanda P.S.
They alleged that her comments about people using the slogan “Jai Shri Ram” while attacking others hurt Hindu sentiments for sure and demanded action against her without fail.
Anasuya responded by saying her comments were being misunderstood much. She clearly clarified that she was referring to a particular group and did not intend to target any religion or community for sure.
The BJP leaders called her remarks offensive and asked her to be careful on social media without fail. Police have received the complaint and are looking into the matter as of now.
Anasuya has faced controversies over her social media statements before as well.
