Police officials conduct raids on various theatres in Vijayawada

Looks like the revenge drama of the Andhra Pradesh government on the single screens is not going to stop anytime soon. After refusing to go back on the ticket pricing GO, the government is after the theatre maintenance system across the state.

Now, the latest news is that the police officials conducted surprise raids on all theatres in Vijayawada city. As per the media reports, the officials checked the ticket rates, security and amenities issues and soon going to submit a report to the concerned authorities.

Earlier, during the release of Balakrishna’s Akhanda, the officials seized a theatre in Guntur district as the management screened a special show against the government fixed only four shows per day guidelines.
