Police Complaint Has Been Filed Against Puri Jagannadh

Puri Jagannadh‘s latest song, “Maar Muntha Chod Chinta,” from the upcoming film “Double iSmart” starring Ram Pothineni, has sparked controversy just days after its release.

Rajitha Reddy, a senior leader of BRS filed a complaint against the director and his team.

The complaint is about that they used a phrase spoken by former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao in an inappropriate manner in the song. The police have received the complaint.

Rajitha Reddy expressed concern that the song lyrics disrespectfully feature a phrase associated with Chandrashekhar Rao word “Em cheddam antav mari?

She urged the police to take action against Puri Jagannadh for using the phrase in this manner.

The lyrics for the song by Kasarla Shyam in typical Hyderabadi slang, reflecting the character played by Ram Pothineni in the movie.

Mani Sharma composed the music, and the vocals were provided by Rahul Sipligunj, Dhanunjan Seepana, and Keerthana Sharma. The song also stars Kavya Thapar.
