In his most recent interview, Piyush Raina, who was most recently seen in the Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan movie “Ghoomer,” discusses this.
Actor Piyush Raina revealed that he attended his audition for the movie “Ghoomer” in -3 °C. Piyush Raina recently appeared in the Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan film “Ghoomer.” In the movie, Piyush plays the role of Anuj, Anina’s (Saiyami’s) brother, and he is her strongest supporter.
The actor added, when asked how he acquired the role, “It’s actually quite a story. I got a call from the wonderful Shruti Mahajan’s Casting Team while I was celebrating my anniversary in Kashmir. They wanted to see me perform, but because I was in Kashmir, I provided them a video of a self-test that my wife took as I performed at -3 °C. Fortunately, the director thought I was good, and I got the part.
Working with the director R. Balki, according to Piyush Raina, was like living in a dream. He said, “I saw his process and was simply eager to stay in his vicinity for a longer period of time. He assisted me in immersing myself in Anuj’s persona, and I’m confident that I gave it my all. The rest happened magically between Action and Cut thanks to his exquisite character writing and casting decisions.
Additionally, Piyush Raina described an event that happened on set during the picnic song shoot at Kanheri Caves: “Balki sir yelled, “Anuj Jump!” and I jumped, falling down a rough hill and breaking my middle finger. The shot didn’t even make it into the movie. However, while pain is fleeting, memories last a lifetime.
Finally, when discussing the kind of feedback he has been getting since his release, he said: “Oh, they’ve been overwhelming! The outpouring of love and gratitude from all directions humbles me beyond words. Actually, it feels like my heart is filled with a procession of emotional confetti. Directors and senior actors have given me praise and recognition, and even our society guard told me he enjoyed the movie, and that was sufficient. I’m just very appreciative of everyone who appreciated the movie and my role as the devoted family man and foodie Anuj.
