Pic Talk: Dhanush’s first day on the sets of Sir

The pooja ceremony for Dhanush’s first straight Telugu film, Sir, was held recently in Hyderabad. The shooting for the film has begun today in Hyderabad, and Dhanush’s picture from the sets of the film was released. Dhanush can be seen wearing a blue formal shirt and pants, with a pen in his pocket, looking like a ‘Sir. While Dhanush is turned away from the camera, we can see that the shot is being set up in the background.

Sir is directed by Venky Atluri, while Samyuktha Menon is the leading lady and GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the project under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, while Dinesh Krishnan is the cinematographer for the film.

Apart from Sir, Dhanush has also signed up a film with director Sekhar Kammula, which is said to be a political drama. The film is expected to begin after Dhanush completes his current commitments. More details about the film are yet to be announced.
