Penguin film starring Keerthy Suresh landed on online platforms on 8th June in the afternoon time. After highs of 2018, with Mahanati, Sarkar becoming hits, she suddenly took a break in 2019 to reduce her weight. She took that decision to play different characters and she can’t look like Savitri in them. Hence, she had to go to look change. She signed three films in Telugu which are in the production stage and one Pan-India film, Penguin, in late 2019.
Now, Penguin is ready for a release on OTT platforms and Amazon Prime announced the premiere of the film. On 11th June, the trailer of the film will release and now, a teaser is released to show that the movie is about losing her son. The team hinted at a serial killer is in operation too. The movie will premiere on 19th June and Karthick Subbaraj is producing it with Karthikeyan Santhanam, Jayaram, Sudhan Santhanam. Eashvar Karthic wrote and directed the film.
