Maverick director SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited magnum opus, RRR has been carrying massive craze among the trade circles. Amid huge buzz, the film is gearing up for a pan-India release on October 13, 2021.
Starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, the film’s pre-release business is almost closed on a solid note in South Indian languages. Now, the fresh news is that reputed Bollywood production and distribution house Pen Studios bagged the theatrical and non-theatrical rights which includes electronic, digital and satellite rights for the Hindi version of RRR.
An official announcement regarding the same came out this afternoon from the Pen Studios management. Though the deal details are not disclosed, Bollywood reports suggest that Pen Studios management has grabbed the rights by offering a massive price of close to Rs 500 crores.
Also starring Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, RRR has a few prominent Telugu and Tamil actors in crucial roles.
Being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainments banner, RRR has a few foreign artists like Oliva Morris, Alison Dobby in key roles. Senior music composer MM Keeravani is scoring music for this pre-independence patriotic drama.
