Running away from your own marriage! Yes, that’s the premise of Mallik Ram’s new directorial venture titled ‘Pelli Golla’ that will be launched on Viuclip’s video streaming service Viu on 29th March.

The show has Abijeet Duddala of Life is Beautiful fame and Chandamama Kathalu’s Shamili Sounderajan in the lead.
The official poster of show co-produced by Viu and Tamada Media and presented by Annapurna Studios was released today and here is the first look:

Going by the poster, the show seems to question whether our weddings are perceived less as a celebration and more as a torture for couples! Will the characters played by Abijeet and Shamili be able to break the shackles of their arranged marriage and find true love?

Commenting on his new show, director Mallik Ram said, “Pelli Golla falls under the category of a marriage comedy. It is set in Amalapuram and both Abijeet and Shamili are sure to win hearts with the kind of performances they have given.
