PC Sreeram is not just a name in Indian Film Industry, he is the god of cinematography for South Indian films and his style has even been noticed by many makers and cinematographers in Hindi too. He has a hero level following among the film lovers and common audience grown up on 90’s films too.His name on screen used to get whistles and people crossing their hands in front of the screen. His work was first noticed across the different Southern languages with Mani Ratnam’s Mouna Ragam. Then the director cinematographer combination went on to create a huge impact on Indian screen with their new techniques and edgy frames.
The work they achieved in films like Geetanjali, Anjali, AgniNakshatram, Nayagan, Thalapathi is said to be the best ever any Director Cinematographer could achieve. The next in line for such iconic recognition is SS Rajamouli and Senthil Kumar with films like Sye, YamaDonga, Eega, Bahubali. But they are still toddlers in front of the iconic combo and the combination once again created magic in films like Sakhi, OK Bangaram. PC Sreeram also worked in films like Khushi and there is a great chance that the combination Khushi might repeat with Trivikram as writer director for Pawan Kalyan’s most anticipated 25th Film. Well, the talks by the producers Sithara Entertainments and Director Trivikram are still on and the final crew details will only be released once the shoot starts in November.
