Payal Ghosh In A Tweet Has Accused A Big Bollywood Director Of Raping Her

Astonishing accusations have been made against Anurag Kashyap by actress Payal Ghosh.

Actress Payal Ghosh, who previously gained attention for making “me too” allegations, has shocked the internet once more by alleging that a renowned Bollywood film director raped her after promising to give her a shot in a movie. Ghosh revealed the alarming information of getting raped on Twitter.

The 33-year-old actress, who originates from Bengal, is well known for playing Tamannah Bhatia’s buddy character in Jr NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’. She played the lead in Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s “Prayanam” as well.

Taking to Twitter as per the website Track Tollywood, Payal Ghosh claimed that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap r*ped her. On social media, she stated, “I worked in south film industry with 2 national award winning directors & star directors but nobody even touched me inappropriately but in Bollywood I haven’t even worked with Anurag Kashyap, but he r*ped me on our third meeting, now say why I shouldn’t brag about south…!!!” Payal has earlier accused Anurag while dragging him into the ‘me too’ controversy.

Anurag Kashyap has not responded to Payal Ghosh’s claim in the same way that he has not previously responded to her “me too” charges. Payal had also spoken out against Sajid Khan, the director. The most recent information was made public a week after she released an incomplete handwritten suicide note on social media, telling her followers that she might die from a heart attack or by suicide. Nevertheless, she didn’t say who would be held accountable for her acts.

In September 2020, Payal disclosed on social media that she had given a news outlet an interview about Anurag, but they had to get his permission, which irritated her. She stated that it wouldn’t be a suicide if she were discovered hanging from a ceiling. The actress had filed a FIR against the director for sexual harassment in 2013.
