Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest for the pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film Republic, which took place last night. Since Sai Dharam Tej is currently in the hospital, recovering from his accident, the mega family came in support of the actor’s film, and it was Pawan’s turn last night.
The actor took the opportunity to speak a lot of things about the current situation of the industry, especially in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The actor addressed a lot of issues pertaining to the YSRCp government in this speech, especially speaking about how the film industry has become a soft target for the YSRCP government. While the speech is an exhilarating one, one that lists out facts, it is also a double-edged sword.
Pawan’s words are absolutely true with respect to the film industry, and even politically. However, there are several producers, big ones at that, in Tollywood, who have been trying to be on the inside of the AP government for a long time now, but have been failing, due to their close relations with Pawan. Once again, with this speech, it is being said that the political relations of these producers are at stake, for supporting Pawan’s speech, and standing by him.
