Anu Emmanuel is one of the popular heroines in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. However, the actress has been maintaining a low profile in Tollywood for the past couple of years. She was last seen in Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, which bombed at the box office. After nearly three years, Anu is back in Tollywood and has signed an interesting project. Reportedly, she will be seen playing the female lead in Allu Sirish’s next film, which is directed by Rakesh Sasi. Apart from this film, she has also signed a film opposite Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the film titled Alludu Adhurs.
Anu Emmanuel does not have a positive image in all the film industries as many people have stated that she has been rude. Recently, Tamil director Mysskin stated that Anu Emmanuel disrespected Andrea Jeremiah during the shoot of Vishal’s Thupparivalan. He was furious and gave her an earful. He said, “I didn’t face any issue in Psycho. But, it happened during the shooting of Thupparivaalan. Anu Emmanuel and Andrea Jeremiah were shooting for their combination scene. While Andrea wore jeans and a T-shirt, Anu wore a kurta. So Andrea told her to watch her step as her kurta might get stuck. But, she got furious and asked Andrea to mind her job. I got really angry and irritated.”
