Powerstar Pawan Kalyan proved again that his name is enough for a movie to do record pre-release business. He is the only hero in Telugu, to have clocked 100 crs business even before the film’s release. For Sardar Gabbar Singh, his remuneration was more than twenty crores and it was highest at the time. Even though Prabhas, was said to have received more than 25 crores in remuneration, it is for two movies. After Bahubali, Prabhas increased his remuneration and per film he will be paid 20 crores.
Mahesh Babu also took 20 crores for Brahmostvam and for his latest with Murugadoss, he got 22 crores as remuneration. Jr.NTR will be taking remuneration for his 27th film, produced by his brother Kalyanram, after the pre-release business is over. So the perfect amount will only be known during the release time of the movie.
Now, as the Katamarayudu business is over, Pawan Kalyan took Nizam and Overseas rights as his remuneration for the movie. The Nizam rights were sold to 25 crores to Global pictures and Overseas rights were sold for a record 8.5 crores. In total, he got a little more than 33 crores as remuneration for the movie. The most part of this will be used for his Jana Sena party activities.
