Director Pavan Sadineni has reportedly been arrested after a woman from the film industry filed a complaint against him.
According to reports she accused him of cheating her after allegedly promising to marry her. Police took Pavan into custody and he was reportedly sent to judicial remand.
The case is currently under investigation and the allegations are yet to be fully established.
Pavan is known for films like Prema Ishq Kaadhal, Savitri and Senapathi, along with web projects such as Dayaa.
He is currently directing Aakasam Lo Oka Tara, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Hegde and Shruti Haasan. A major part of the film has been completed.
