Ajith Kumar teamed up with Trisha for Pattudala. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film was released on February 6th. It also features Arjun and Regina Cassandra in key roles. The movie received negative talk on the first day, leading to poor openings.
On the second day, Thandel was released, reducing the number of screens for Pattudala. Despite this, the film performed almost the same on the second and third days. However, surprisingly, collections dropped further on Sunday.

The Telugu version of Pattudala had a theatrical business of Rs. 3.2 crore. To reach the break-even point, the film needs to collect Rs. 3.5 crore. After four days, it has earned Rs. 0.94 crore. The movie had an average opening during its first weekend. It still needs Rs. 2.56 crore to break even.
