The theatrical trailer of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming dark action thriller, Pathaan is released this morning. Set in the Army backdrop as a tribute to the Indian soldiers, the little more than two minutes promotional video is filled with breathtaking action sequences that create solid impact.
Outfit X, a private terrorist group led by John Abraham’s character plans a massive attack on India. After receiving the red flag through Indian intelligence, the Indian government brings in board Pathaan ( Shah Rukh Khan) who is in exile for the past few years to stop the Outfit X group’s attack on India. In the process, Pathaan joins forces with yet another soldier( role played by Deepika Padukone). Will the soldier duo be able to control Outfit X activities, forms the crucial crux. Though the story looks quite unrealistic, the action setup created and the heavy dose of battle sequences throw a positive vibe to the theatrical trailer of Pathaan.
WAR fame Siddharth Anand is the director for Pathaan. Bankrolled by Aditya Chopra’s reputed production house Yash Raj Films banner, this highly-anticipated film is gearing up for a theatrical release on January 25th as the Republic Day special in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.
