Released on January 25th, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s dark action thriller, Pathaan had a dream run at the worldwide box office. This Siddharth Anand directional smashed all the existing Bollywood box office records and created new benchmarks in all domestic and overseas territories.
As per the reports, Pathaan breached Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. An official poster regarding the same is released by the makers today. It is already reported that marking the historic success of Pathaan, the film’s production house Yash Raj Films has organized #PathaanDay on February 17th. Reportedly, the makers will be keeping flat Rs 110 as the ticket price for the film across all Indian multiplex chains during weekdays from now onwards. The ticket price in leading multiplex chains like PVR, Inox and Cinepolis will be Rs 110 on weekdays.
At the overseas box office, Pathaan crossed more than $45 million. In key markets like North America, Australia, Germany, the UK, UAE, and Newzealand, Pathaan emerged as the all-time highest-grosser among straight Hindi films and is only next to mighty Baahubali 2.
Co-starring Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles, Pathaan also has Salman Khan in a key cameo. Pathaan is part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe.
