Parvati Nair Regrets Turning Down Arjun Reddy, Shares Reason..

Parvati Nair shared that she was offered the lead role in “Arjun Reddy” as Preethi. She later admitted on social media that she regretted turning down the opportunity.

Despite her successful career, Parvati expressed regret for missing out on the popular Telugu film “Arjun Reddy”, which is now considered a classic.

During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked her if she had declined the film due to its intimate scenes. Parvati confirmed it, saying, “Yes, that’s true. It is a beautiful film that I shouldn’t have missed. But I believe that what is meant for you will come to you eventually, so I am hopeful that more wonderful opportunities will come my way”.

She explained that she turned down the role after being hesitant about the intimate scenes. When director Sandeep Reddy Vanga first told her the story, she found it simple and ordinary and couldn’t see the potential of a new director at the time.

Parvati said that watching the film in a theater made her feel bad for passing it up, as she realized the director’s talent in turning a simple love story into an impactful film. “The way it was presented was so good that I fell in love with it,” she added.
