Parineeti Chopra Says She Won’t Feel Pressured To Lose Weight

Parineeti Chopra has questioned why women are expected to get back in shape soon after childbirth. The actress and her husband, Raghav Chadha, welcomed their first child, son Neer, in October 2025.

A few months later, Parineeti returned to work. In a recent interview she said women should not feel pressured to change their bodies after having a baby.

She compared it to changes caused by holidays, such as weight gain, tanning or a new haircut.

Parineeti said she would work on her fitness only when she personally wanted to, not because she had given birth.

She also said motherhood has not changed her approach to work. According to her, family comes first and work comes second.
