A couple of weeks back Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is making headlines owing to her relationship with politician Raghav Chadha. The actress and her beau often get snapped by paparazzi during their date outings in Mumbai and recently they were seen at the Mumbai airport, adding fuel to the rumours of their engagement in Delhi. Furthermore, a video of the actress’ house decorations has been going viral on social media, confirming these rumours.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha is expected to have already had a ‘roka’ ceremony earlier this month which was reportedly ‘strictly a family affair’. While Parineeti and Raghav were snapped in airport before taking off to Delhi, paparazzo accounts have taken shots of the actress’ residence in Mumbai and it seems to be decorated with lights, confirming the details of their engagement. Rumours also have it that Parineeti’s sister and global superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas might be flying down for the engagement in the capital.
As for the engagement ceremony, recent reports have it that the ceremony will be held in a traditional manner and will follow the Punjabi rituals and customs. It is being said that the ceremony will kick off with an ardas (prayers), followed by a ring ceremony. About 150 guests are expected to be a part of this function.
Their report had earlier stated the couple would be tying the knot in October this year. Reports saying,”The duo is likely to get married by October-end of this year. Parineeti and Raghav are in no rush and they both have work commitments that they need to take care of before getting into the wedding festivities.”
On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra has Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh as well as Capsule Gill with Akshay Kumar in the pipeline.
