Director Parasuram made his directorial debut with Geetha Govindam, which brought together Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. The film became a blockbuster, but the director has been taking it slow and is not in a hurry to sign back to back films. Earlier, it was reported that Parasuram has signed a film with Naga Chaitanya, which was supposed to go on floors later this year. However, it looks like the project has been put on hold for now. Reportedly, the director is prepping for his big-budget film with a leading star.
He has signed a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu. But, it looks like the actor might do Chiranjeevi’s Acharya before getting on to Parasuram’s film. It is said that the Maharshi actor asked Parasuram to complete a project in between and then come to him. However, Parasuram has decided to work on Mahesh Babu’s film first as it will give a huge boost to his career. So, his film with Naga Chaitanya has been put on hold now and will begin once his film with Mahesh Babu takes shape. An official announcement regarding Mahesh Babu’s film will be out soon.
