PAPA Title Track: A Sothing Romantic Number

This evening the title track from the audio album of Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair starrer Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai is released by the makers. Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai marks the third time association of Naga Shaurya and Srinivas Avasarala after the 2014 romantic drama, Oohalu Gusagusalade and the 2016 film, Jyo Achyutananda.

Lyrics written by Bhaskarbhatla Ravikumar, the romantic track was sung by Dhanunjay and Nutana Mohan in a beautiful manner. This close-to-three-minute song explores the chemistry between the lead pair in a realistic manner. Overall, Palana Abbai Phalana Ammai title track is a peppy romantic number. The authentic scenes between the lead pair have been presented nicely in this situational montage song. Kalyani Malik’s tune is perfectly blended with the content of the song.

A few weeks back the film’s teaser was released and got positive feedback from the audience. Set in a semi-foreign backdrop, the teaser explores the relationship between the lead pair. The film revolves around Sanjay Pisapati( Naga Shaurya) and Anupama Kasturi( Malvika Nair). How friendship blooms between them and eventually turns into a live-in relationship, expected to be crucial crux.

Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai (PAPA) will be hitting the screens on March 17th as a Ugadi festival special. Being directed by actor-filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala, earlier, the makers planned to release the film during Valentine’s Day weekend but due to reasons unknown, they drop the idea. Said-to-be an out-and-out entertainer with some norm-questioning topics in the relationship, PAPA is carrying decent buzz among moviegoers. The film is bankrolled by the People Media Factory banner owned by TG Viswa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla’s Dasari Productions.
