Amid rumours of joining Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Thug Life, actor Pankaj Tripathi has denied any involvement.
In an interview with he said, “Yeh jhooti khabar hai, yeh satya nahi hai (This is false news, not true)”. He also mentioned how quickly such misinformation spreads online.
Pankaj shared that while he’s open to acting in South Indian films, he prefers roles where the language is Hindi.
He recalled a past experience acting in a Telugu film where he felt uncomfortable speaking the lines. Language, he said, is key to giving a natural performance.
Currently, Tripathi is promoting his upcoming film Metro… In Dino, which releases on July 4th.
Meanwhile, Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Kamal Haasan is set to release on June 5th. The film features a star-studded cast and music by A.R. Rahman.
