Director Pandiraj is now ready with his upcoming film Thalaivan Thalaivi, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen.
At the film’s pre-release event Pandiraj shared that he and Vijay once had a serious disagreement leading both to decide never to work together again.
However things changed at director Mysskin’s birthday party. Pandiraj recalled being unsure whether to greet Vijay but was surprised when Vijay warmly hugged him and asked “Shall we do a film together?” That moment ended their differences.
Pandiraj also revealed that when he wrote the script of Thalaivan Thalaivi he felt Vijay would be perfect for the lead role.
His cameraman familiar with Vijay, convinced him to hear the story. After just 20 minutes of narration, Vijay instantly agreed.
The film a family entertainer with music by Santhosh Narayanan, is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and is set to release on July 25th.
