Shot to pan-India stardom with the 2018 film, KGF Chapter 1, Kannada actor Yash is celebrating his birthday today. For the past two years or so, the talented actor is waiting for the release of his much-awaited gangster drama, KGF2 which is a sequel to KGF1.
Though a few media platforms are reporting that the film’s release will be postponed due to the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases, this morning, on the occasion of Yash’s birthday, the makers have once again confirmed that KGF Chapter 2 will release as per the scheduled April 14th date. A new poster conveying birthday wishes to Yash by the team is also unveiled along with the confirmation on the release date.
Being bankrolled by Hombale Films banner, KGF2 is being directed by Prashant Neel and has Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in a key role. While Shraddha Shetty is playing the female lead, KGF2 will have a simultaneous release in all South languages along with the Hindi version. Sai Korrapati is releasing the movie in Telugu.
