Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi come together for a charismatic tale of love. Hanu Raghavapudi made his best possible movie when he handling a romance. Could he do that again?
Plot: A football player, Surya (Sharwanand) falls in love with Doctor Vaishali (Sai Pallavi). She is a tough nut to crack but Surya does the impossible. But then problems crop up and they have to come up with solutions. Could they?
Performances: Sharwanand is charismatic and very attractive in this movie. He did try his best to give his character an identity. But writer just confuses restlessness with vibrance.
Sai Pallavi is very good too. But she comes off as a boring and lifeless character that we fall out of love with an instance as the movie progresses. All others like Priyaraman, Murali Sharma are good.
Technicalities: Jay Kay’s visuals are very good and he did try his best to give the movie visuals an artistic feel.
Sreekar Prasad as an editor is good when it comes to giving the narrative a flow but even he couldn’t help it as it lacks a structure.
Vishal Chandrasekhar gave good songs but couldn’t come up with bad BGM. The tunes of his songs were remixed by him as BGM.
Hanu Raghavapudi is the bigger culprit than any other person in this team. He really brought in some of the best technical crew that can bring his ideas to life but failed to give it all a sense. It just flows and goes on and on. He needed to be more careful with the character graphs and concentrate on what really changed them than just what happens like a circle of life.
Analysis: With two charismatic leads who can act like dream on-screen a director and writer needs to just come up with compelling stuff that helps them to bring written words to life. But Hanu Raghavapudi again confuses flare with conviction and delivers a mind-numbing movie and thinks he delivered a mind-blowing one.
Hd confuses craft and intelligence with art. He needs to come up with a better understanding of what he wants to tell in a story than just randomly delivering something that doesn’t make any sense for its existence in any manner. Complete waste of effort.
