Noted actress Pranitha Subhash, who tied the knot with a businessman named Nitin Raju a couple of days back will be seen in a prominent role in the upcoming Bollywood comic caper, Hungama 2. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is going to skip its theatrical release due to the pandemic crisis and opt for direct digital streaming on noted OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar soon.
Meanwhile, the latest news we hear is that Disney management has acquired Hungama 2 streaming rights for a decent price of Rs 30 crore. Sources confirm that the makers have only sold the digital rights of the film to Disney and kept satellite rights on hold for the time being.
Being bankrolled by Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain, Hungama 2 is the second installment of the 2003 film, Hungama. Along with Pranitha Subhash, the latest version also stars Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi among others in prominent roles.
