It is well-known that Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is making his digital debut with a web series for the noted OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Titled Farzi, The Family Man franchise creators Raj&DK directed a web show which also has Raashi Khanna and South star Vijay Sethupathi in crucial roles.
The entire shooting formalities for Farzi are already wrapped up and the post-production work is under process at a fast pace. Meanwhile, the latest news is that in the evening hours of January 5th, Amazon Prime management revealed that Farzi will be premiered on the OTT platform on February 10th. A few new posters along with the premiere date is also released by the team.
On the front of the film, Shahid Kapoor is presently shooting for the Dinesh Vijan production that has Kriti Sanon as the female lead. This as-yet-untitled film is said to be a one of its kind robotic-based romantic comedy, set for a late 2023 release. Apart from it, Shahid has Ali Abbas Zafar directional Bloody Daddy, which is set for direct-to-digital premieres on Jio’s new platform sometime in 2023.
