From the get-go, Family Star seemed to struggle. Director Parasuram and the team faced scrutiny for overlooking logical flaws both during filming and in subsequent press interactions. Now, these flaws are becoming glaringly evident to audiences, contributing to the film’s poor reception.
It’s not uncommon for films to redeem themselves on television or OTT platforms after underperforming in theaters. However, Family Star’s woes persist, indicating deeper issues with its execution and planning.
