A couple of days back, we had reported that a small film titled, Ek Mini Katha which was supposed to hit the screens in the last week of April is now aiming for a digital release. Reportedly, due to the shutdown of the theatres and considering the ongoing pandemic situation, the makers took the decision.
News also came out that popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has bagged the streaming rights of the film. Now, the latest news is that the digital channel has offered a whopping Rs 9 crore and closed the deal. Getting this kind of massive offer for a small budget film like Ek Mini Katha is now a trending topic among the film circles.
Starring young actors Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles, the film also has Shraddha Das in a key role. While young filmmaker Karthik Rapolu directed the film, UV Concepts in association with Mango Mass Media banner bankrolled it.
