Undoubtedly, Dil Raju is the leading producer and distributor in the Telugu film industry. As he is having more than 1000 theatres across twin Telugu states under his control, his production or distribution movies have never seen a difficulty during the release time, to date.
But the scenario is not going to be the same for his upcoming film, F3. Though the film is scheduled for a February release, being active producers guild member, Dil Raju postponed the film’s release and gave the February 25th slot to Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s film, Bheemla Nayak. Later, an official announcement came out that F3 will hit the screens on April 29th. A couple of days back on the eve of Varun Tej’s birthday, the team has unveiled the film’s release is preponed by one day and will be out on April 18th.
Meanwhile, yesterday an official announcement came out that SS Rajamouli’s prestigious project, RRR has blocked March 18th and April 28th release dates and depending upon the CoVID circumstances, the release date will be finalized. In the given context, if RRR releases on April 29th, Dil Raju has no other option but to postpone F3 further. But as biggies such as Radhe Shyam, Beast, KGF Chapter 2 are also ready for a release in April and May, looks like, for the first time in his 20 years career, Dil Raju is facing troubles in accomodating a proper release date for his own production film.
