Only Pushpa and SSR fell victim to AP ticket prices issue?

While the Andhra Pradesh government had announced the GO No 35 a few months ago, on the reduction in ticket prices and other restrictions, the GO wasn’t implemented strictly until the tickets issue was talked about in public. The tickets of Balakrishna’s Akhanda were sold at higher prices, and the government didn’t cause any trouble, as the issue wasn’t talked about at the time, very publicly.

Post the release of Akhanda though, and leading up to the release of Pushpa: The Rise, and Shyam Singha Roy, the ticket prices issue was talked about extensively in public, and on social media as well, which shifted the AP government’s attention towards the issue, which caused problems for Pushpa and SSR. The government made sure that the tickets of these films were sold at the prices fixed but the government, which resulted in losses for both the films, especially to SSR.

Now, the films released for Sankranthi are also doing quite well, with tickets being sold at the prices fixed by the theatres, and even the government isn’t much bothered about the same, as the issue wasn’t highlighted in public. On the whole, Pushpa and SSR seem to be the only two films that have fallen victim to the ticket issue in AP, in retrospect.
